See every note
Upload a song. It is analysed on our servers; you open it in your browser and see the spectrogram, the constant-Q and the live spectrum, scrolling with the music — loop a bar, slow it down, play along.
No installation, and the demo needs no account.

Real spectral analysis, drawn by your own GPU. Nothing here is a video.
Writing music down, and playing it back
Transcription
Turn what you hear into something you can read. The spectrogram and the constant-Q display show you which pitches are sounding and when, so a line you cannot pick out by ear is one you can see.
- Spectral analysis · Frequency against time, so a note is a mark you can point at
- Any notation · Precise pitch and timing data, whatever you write it in
- Precise timing · Loop a bar and slow it down until the detail separates
Practice
Play along with the record. The transport is built for the four bars you keep getting wrong rather than for listening to a whole track.
- Loop control · Drag out the passage and it repeats until you have it
- Speed adjustment · Slower or faster without moving the pitch
- Count-in · A metronome bar before the loop comes round, so you start in time
See the notes as clearly as you see colour
Every pitch class has a colour, and it is the same colour everywhere in the product — in the spectrum, in the constant-Q, and in the name across the top of this page.
The analysis is ours; the drawing is yours
A second of audio is about 11 MB of spectral texture. That work happens on our machines and streams to you; your browser spends its time drawing, which is the one thing it is faster at.

Upload and walk away. The job runs without the tab open.
Drawn with WebGL
The textures arrive as they are made and the display fills in behind you.
